This is a simple recipe and is great drizzled over ice cream or mixed into your favorite plant-based milk.
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup water
Dash of salt
1 tsp vanilla
In a small saucepan, add sugar, cocoa and salt. Whisk together gently.
Add water, and stir to combine.
Bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat.
Add vanilla and stir.
Cool at room temperature, stirring occasionally.
Transfer to a glass jar and store in fridge.
