Our spring butterflies have all been released, except for one that was unable to fly due to a malformed wing. We have this one still in our habitat with flowers and fruits to enjoy. #naturestudy #butterflies #insectlore #homeeducation Connect with Nature. Engage the senses. #naturestudy #personalscholarship #lifelonglearner I have a love-hate relationship with technology. I love my phone, my touch screen laptop and that’s about it. Play stations annoy me and I might watch more shows if I could just turn a tv on and go to an streaming app. My LG smart tv should do this but keeps forgetting my settings (!). But I had a small victory in figuring out how to share my laptop screen to the tv - I wanted to be able to open kindle books on the tv in the dining room so I could have a large display for children’s books. Yay! #luddite #lotech #kindle #homeeducation #homeschool #readtoyourkids Just finished Knockemout book 2 by Lucy Score. Such a great book, one I’ve been looking forward to since I read the epilogue of Things We Never Got Over. #lucyscore #thingswehidefromthelight #2023readinglist #bookstagram Murder Past Due, Book 1 in Cat in the Stacks Mystery series, just arrived! #readallthebooks ##catinthestacks #2023readinglist I’ve never really read much mystery, but I was browsing Barnes & Noble and they had an end cap display featuring several mysteries. This one caught my eye - because cats! - and I picked it up. Turns out it’s book five (of thirteen books) in the Cat in the Stacks mystery series by Miranda James. I loved it! It was a light read and kept me guessing until everything was resolved at the end. I’ve already ordered book 1 so I can do the rest of the series. #2023readinglist #readallthebooks #catinthestacks #mysterybookstagram Enjoying several cardinals’ antics this morning. #countryliving #backyardliving #birdwatching I can’t help it - I just love magazines. I love adding them to my Current Reads stack! #personalscholar #homelibrary #readallthemagazines #magazines This is a fantastic read - but I won’t lie - the caving descriptions are causing me physical anxiety. Reading these passages got me like “no, no, no, no, no” I gotta put the book down for a few minutes to recover lol! I’m done for the night after reading about Moss Chamber!! #personalscholar #readinglist2022 #underland #robertmacfarlane
