2026 Reading Plan
Some days the only way to survive is by the grace of dopamine bursts via new office supplies. #planner #stationary Daily Oracle First 2026 book done! This was such a great book. Biography with significant amount of science - an excellent combination. Iโ€™ve got several books the author referenced that I need to add to my TBR. Lots of rabbit holes to explore. #2026reading #science #books #reading #personalscholarship It's January! December went by in a blur, and I focused on two books, and finishing up two audiobooks. I shifted a few books to 2026, and have come up with an ambitious list for the month of January. One of the final tasks for the year is sitting down with my reading plan for the new year and spreading it out over twelve months. This is definitely my most ambitious (perhaps overly ambitious and slightly unrealistic ๐Ÿ˜ฌ) reading plan to date, but even getting through half of my list would make 2026 a good year. A couple of things not included in my reading plan - Iโ€™m reading a daily devotional this coming year - The Daily Stoic. I actually flipped to December and got a jump start and it is SO good! I have a Secular Devotionals list on the blog if you are looking for short reading selections for each day. Also, Iโ€™ve got some Great Courses I want to work through this year. Iโ€™m thinking one lecture a week is manageable. Iโ€™ve got Language Families of the World and 30 Greatest Orchestral Works planned for 2026. Iโ€™m feverishly working to wrap up a couple of books this week so I can start strong on New Years. #2026reading #personalscholarship Book mail is the best mail! I may have said I was done buying books for the year. If I did, I was lying. ๐Ÿ˜„ #books #bookstagram #buyallthebooks #personalscholarship #2026reading Book mail is the best mail! Collisons is the upcoming read for Science Book Club. An Mac Tรญre Deireanach is a young reader chapter book in Irish Gaelic, perfect for complete language novices like myself. #books #bookmail #reading #personalscholar #2026readingchallenge I wanted to share a couple of books. I picked up On Tyranny this week for a friend - I love the book and had no idea there was a graphic adaptation available! I also picked up How Books Can Save Democracy for myself, because I firmly believe if people read more (and outside their echo chambers) we would all be better off. #books #reading #personalscholarship Final chapter of How to Read a Book.
